Rafael Nadal and his love for chocolate are not hidden. The former world No. 1 has repeatedly mentioned his love of chocolate in the media.
In an interview after winning the second match against Yannick Hanfmann, Nadal mentioned that he has cut down on chocolate to stay fit and healthy for the Australian Open 2022.

Rafael Nadal is returning from a left foot injury that caused him to miss the match Tokyo Olympics and the US Open. However, on his way back to the court, the former world No 1 had to make some major dietary sacrifices.
In an interview with euro sports, Nadal mentioned “The chocolates of the past few months have run out, I changed a few things in my diet. After all I’ve been through with my legs, I’m just trying to lose a little weight and work appropriately to get ready for the season.”
Nadal is one of the strongest athletes in all of sports. In his career, he has achieved things that others cannot imagine. But he was able to achieve those feats because of his courage and determination.
The example of him cutting chocolates right while preparing for a tournament will inspire young people to take up the sport.
Nadal then went on to talk about his match against Hanfmann, saying, “Fits the help and I need it. Today is a difficult day. He [Hanfmann] played well and that’s a positive thing for me. I hope to be ready for the sequel. Today is a victory. After today I will have a tough game so I need to play better than today.”
Nadal in his next match will face the Russians Karen Khachanov in his third match. Khachanov will be the most difficult test for Nadal so far. Khacahnov won silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
