Dos Anjos last fought over a year ago in November 2020 when he defeated Paul Felder through the division decision. The former lightweight champion has fought only the best for most of his career, including the likes of Anthony Pettis, Benson Henderson, Donald Cerrone, Kevin Lee, Eddie Alvarez, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson light words and Kamaru Usman, Colby Covington, Robbie Lawler and Leon Edwards from the welding weight. Fiziev is an upcoming prospect with a record of 11-1.

He basically tweeted: “Sources say the fight between Rafael dos Anjos and Rafael Fiziev next weekend is likely to be moved to the UFC 272 co-main event area on March 5. It will still be a five-round fight. The delay in securing Fiziev’s visa was a problem. No words on 2/19 new main. Walker-Hill finished 2nd to last. ”
This title of UFC 272 while it was a match full of resentment between former teammates. Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal are nasty opponents and are considered one of the greatest rivalry fights in UFC history.
