He said he was called to a move to Oakey when the snake “came back very quickly as I followed it” before biting his finger.
He said he immediately applied a pressure bandage and called an ambulance.
In such situations, he said, it was “crucial” to “not move, just sit and wait.”
He posted on Facebook on Saturday that the bite was painless.
However, he indicated that he suffered memory loss or loss of consciousness after the bite.
“I don’t remember Friday night anymore,” wrote Glasser, who was contacted by 7NEWS.com.au for an interview.
“(The) doctor told me I had extreme nausea, vomiting, headaches and aching kidneys.
“I was confused and didn’t know what happened.
“Saturday morning came and I didn’t know last night had passed.”
He said he felt “okay” all day Saturday.
“They were still concerned about the blood thinning and what it was doing to the heart,” he said.
“After a few blood tests, I noticed that my blood condition was improving”
