PUBG: New State gets Sus with new Among Us crossover

PUBG is a big franchise and Among Us is a very popular game. It only makes sense that the two would get together for a special event. A themed mini-game and a collection of cosmetics are part of the crossover.

As announced on twitter, the collaboration is part of the April update of PUBG: New State. The highlight is a new mini-game played on the starting island while the Troi map loads. Each squad of four can play their own little game of Among Us, with a cheating squadmate trying to take out the other three. It’s a fitting way to bring Among Us gameplay to battle royale title on iOS and Android.

Beyond the queuing minigame, New State gets a bunch of Among Us cosmetic items. Completing missions in the game will earn you frames, icons, and titles. You can also buy crates of the cosmetics if you’d rather skip the whole “playing” thing. Your character won’t be the only one to dress up in new gear either: Anchorville, Chester and the starting island will all be adorned with Among Us accessories during the event. The crossover begins a week after the writing of this article, on April 21st, and will run for a full month through May 19th.

This isn’t the first crossover for PUBG: New State, although it’s the first with fictional content. The Rimac Nevera, the world’s fastest electric car, was previously added as an in-game vehicle. PUBG: New State gets Sus with new Among Us crossover
