PUBG: Battlegrounds 2022 roadmap revealed, new weapon and map on the way

The new development plan for PUBG: Battlegrounds is released, revealing the roadmap for the game in 2022. In the second quarter of the year, the game will get a new weapon, an improved training mode, weapon balancing and an update for Sanhok. The third quarter brings a brand new map, weapon balance, and customization improvements to the game. The fourth quarter will include an update for the new map and an update for Vikendi.

As part of the PUBG Q2 updates, Sanhok will be reworked to better match his original form. Sanhok is one of the oldest stages in PUBG and fans have not been happy with the way it has been updated over the years. The developers have listened to the fans and plan to remove many of the added features in Sanhok.

Also part of the Q2 2022 updates will be a new 7.62mm assault rifle coming to PUBG. The new 7.62mm shell will have lower DPS than most other 7.62mm guns, but will be easier to control. The Q2 update will improve training mode, including quality of life updates like fast travel and custom games.

The developers intend to rebalance Paramo World to make it fairer for all players. The realignment of Paramo is called a sub-update and will include improved terrain.

The PUBG 2022 roadmap reveals that the brand new map Kiki will finally make its way into the game in the third quarter of the year. Kiki is a futuristic-looking stage full of modern skyscrapers and exclusive new features. Players can use airboats in certain parts of Kiki, and there will also be special areas called Ascenders that allow players to quickly ascend or descend from long distances. There will also be a Weapon Mastery overhaul in Q3, including increasing the maximum Weapon Mastery level.

The developers plan to redesign the Vikendi map in Q4. The developers who want to update the graphics and add new features to Vikendi related to the core game. They also intend to overhaul Arcade mode as there hasn’t been a major update since TDM. Kiki will also get an update in the fourth quarter of 2022.
