PSO2 New Genesis adds a new combat sector, a new boss and an updated geometric maze in the latest patch

The remainder of the January patch content for Fantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is now live, opening up new instances of content, some new side stories, and a whole host of character customization quality of life updates.

In terms of playable content, this part of the January update brings the Neusen Plant combat sector, a fight against a new boss called Quartz Skodin, a new mini-episode, new trigger quest variants of certain urgent Stia quests, and updates to Trinitas: Geometric Maze designed to make playing easier.

System updates include the ability to upgrade seven- and eight-star rarity gear beyond level 60, easier-to-find collectibles in the Aelio region, and a number of customization tweaks that allow players to coordinate accessories, preview emotes, and change theirs among other things, the movements and poses of the character in a jiffy.
