Profane discusses ambient sounds, VFX work, guild features, and map creation


The month of December is drawing to a close, it’s time we took a look profaneon social media from where the most visible updates are made.
was the beginning of the month about ambient noise, which discusses the creation of three different biome sounds and their design. A week later, the developers shared a first pass at guild features like rank features and ally and enemy lists, along with other upcoming features like guild-specific map markers and the ability for guild leaders to create contracts for members to complete.
In the middle of the month, a visual presentation took center stage new VFX for several travel-related spells along with explanations of the spells in question, and finally the month ended with a look at the developers’ map-making tool that ends with the usual “excited about 2023” post.
