Prisco’s Week 14 NFL Picks: Browns overtake Raven, WFT upsets Cowboys to further tighten division races

OK, so the start to December is not what I expected it to pick up the game. It’s the average – all the way around.

I won 7-7 with Expert Picks, 9-5 straight, and 3-3 with My Best Bets on the Pick Six Podcast. That brings my overall ATS record to 99-92-3, my consecutive record to 115-78-1 and my Best Bet record to 41-40.

Going into last week, I thought I had a good grasp of the games for the first week of December, but things didn’t turn out that way. There were a lot of games that I really enjoyed this week, especially with several teams playing back-to-back road games.

Here’s an easy option: Titan own Jaguar in Nashville. Save it for what it’s worth. Here are the remaining options:

Thursday, 8:20 p.m. ET (Fox)

Latest rate:

Minnesota Vikings -3

This is a knockout match for these teams. The Steelers impressed by beating Baltimore last week in a close game, while the Vikings struggled with Lion. It’s hard to play on the road in a short week, especially after a head-to-head match, which is why I think the Vikings will win this in a low-scoring match.

Pick: Vikings 20, Steel Man 14

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox)

Latest rate:

Washington football team +4

This is suddenly a big game in the division race. Washington has won four games in a row and is playing brilliantly defensively. Crime in Dallas has also not increased as expected in recent weeks. Washington can get close to the tournament game if they win this, and I think they will. Washington put it behind the guard.

Pick: Washington 23, Dallas 21

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans (-9.5)

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Supreme +)

Latest rate:

Tennessee Titans -9

The Jaguars have always struggled in Tennessee and this is the second straight-line game against a team that is about to say goodbye. That’s a bad combination. The Titans had some trouble before saying goodbye, but like Rams Last week, this Jaguars team was the game to get them back to normal. Big Titans.

Pick: Titans 31, Jaguars 16″

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox)

Latest rate:

Houston Texans +7.5

Seattle held on to its tiny knockout hopes last week before beating 49ers. Now they face a team of Texans playing lousy football. Russell Wilson and the last Seattle pass attack will be able to show some big playability in this game. The Texans’ attack, even against a below-average Seattle defense, will be difficult. Seahawks take it.

Pick: Seahawks 30, Texas 10

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Supreme +)

Latest rate:

Kansas City Chief -9.5

The Raiders are on a losing streak at home and don’t look good in terms of attack. Now they face a good defense. When the two met earlier this year, the Kansas City team had its best day of the season. The Vegas defense would be the tonic to get the Kansas City offensive back on track. Patrick Mahomes light it up.

Pick: Chiefs 34, Raiders 21

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Supreme +)

Latest rate:

New York Jet +5

The Saints had a small goodbye after playing last Thursday which was much needed with all the injuries. The Jets have been playing better lately, but I think they’ll have a hard time against the good New Orleans defense to move the ball. Jets can’t stop anyone – not even Taysom Hill. The saint took it.

Pick: Saints 28, Jets 20

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox)

Latest rate:

Carolina Panthers -2.5

The Panthers are about to say goodbye and have just fired offensive coordinator Joe Brady, as if that would increase offense. However, they are playing well defensively, and sooner or later what will happen. Matt Ryan here. That will lead to short fields for Carolina’s attack as it gets won.

Pick: Panthers 24, Falcons 15

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Supreme +)

Latest rate:

Cleveland Browns -2.5

The Ravens are playing their second straight line game, and the Browns are saying goodbye. Cleveland advantage. The Raven has struggled with assault behavior in a serious way for most of the past month. So does the Browns, but I think their running game will be the difference in this one. They run to a victory and keep Lamar Jackson contains.

Pick: Browns 24, Raven 20

Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (Fox)

Latest rate:

Los Angeles charger -10.5

The Chargers won a must-have game last week against Bengali and could now face a Giants team without their top two quarterbacks. It means Jake Fromm begin. This is a tough challenge for a team that plays road games in a row. The charger gets the big win behind Justin Herbert.

Pick: Charger 29, Giants 7

Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (Fox)

Latest rate:

Denver Broncos -7.5

The Lions won last week dramatically, but now face a Broncos team that needs this game in playoff survival terms. The Denver defense is playing well and will do it here. Offense will be enough to get the Broncos back on the winning track, but the Lions will be around.

Pick: Broncos 23, Lions 17

San Francisco 49ers at Cincinnati Bengals (-1)

Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS, Supreme +)

Latest rate:

Cincinnati Bengals -1

The 49ers are playing a second straight game, while the Bengals are about to lose at home to the Chargers. The 49ers will use their running game to determine the tempo here, but I think this is the game for Joe Burrow to light the secondary 49ers. Cave and Ja’Marr Chase get back in shape.

Pick: Bengals 31, 49ers 21

Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS, Supreme +)

Latest rate:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3

Buffalo will be playing in a short week after the game on Monday night and now have to go on tour to play against a good Bucs team. That is difficult to do. But after playing in tournaments with New England, playing here helps Josh Allen and pass game. Tampa Bay’s defense is not good at the moment. Search as many points as Allen and brave cat light everything. This will be interesting when Tampa Bay wins it, but Buffalo will keep it close.

Pick: Bucs 33, Bills 32

Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC)

Latest rate:

Green Bay Packers -12.5

The Packers are about to say goodbye, so they’ll be resting. Bears look bad when they lose Quantity last week, but there may be Justin Fields back for this game. They need to do the rest of the season to develop Fields. Packers are playing for more, will show up here. It was an explosion like Aaron Rodgers continue to own the Bears.

Pick: Packers 31, Bears 13

Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals (-3)

Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Latest rate:

Arizona Cardinals -2.5

This is a big game on the block and in the conference. The Cardinals beat the Rams at their place earlier this season. They dominated that game. This will not be so easy. The Rams played well last week against the Jaguars, but this is a big step up. The Cardinals will defeat them a second time.

Pick: Cardinals 27, Rams 20
