“Preparing for my next match” Bianca Andreescu confirms her participation in the National Bank Open in Toronto while struggling with back injuries

She is looking forward to being back on the pitch and hopes to be able to play again in the coming days before the games start with some rest. Andreescu clinched the title in Toronto in 2019, defeating Serena Williams in the final.

She captioned her story as “That was a tough game for me yesterday in San Jose. I was feeling a little uncomfortable in my back, but I’m on my way home to Toronto this morning and getting ready to play Tuesday night next week. Can’t wait to see you all out there!“
