The Big West conference didn’t always get as popular as some of the big experts. But, I bet your opinion of this group will change if you take some time to watch. The better teams in the conference often keep up with the middleweight and above teams.

The Big West regular season is such an exciting ride that the Long Beach State emerges with the best of the convention at 12-3. Two other teams, CSUF and Hawaii, each also had double-digit wins. Overall, seven of the 11 teams in the Big West have had their championship season, and the top five all finished the season with wins.

Going into the match that started on March 8, Long Beach State held the No. 1 seed with Cal State Fullerton and Hawaii rounding out the top three seeds. While UC Irvine is the odds favourite, nothing is certain when it comes to conference tournament betting.

Here’s all you need to know to watch, bet and beat the Big West Tournament. Let’s start with the current odds of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Here’s a breakdown of stances and racks heading into the Big West Conference Tournament:

The Big West tournament begins on March 8 and runs until March 12 when the championship game is played. The entire tournament can be streamed via WatchESPN on Apple TV and Roku while the title game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.

The schedule for each round of the tournament is as follows with the times listed in the CT:

Tuesday, March 8, 2022 – Big West Tournament Opening Round

Thursday, March 10, 2022 – Big West Tournament Quarterfinals

Friday, March 11, 2022 – Big West Tournament Semifinals

Saturday, March 12, 2022 – Big West Tournament Finals

While taking favorites isn’t the most exciting option one could make, I had to activate UC Irvine to take them all. The odds show that the rest of the pack is a good match and will pick them one by one. Anteaters has also been the title game in this tournament for four years in a row. There is no reason to go against such a run.

Lean: UC Irvine (+125)

At +600 Hawaii might be on the edge of black horse status but they’re my pick here anyway. The Rainbow Warriors have a late game Friday night against UC Riverside in the quarterfinals. While Riverside has beaten Hawaii once this year, the Rainbow Runners have been robbed in retaliation with another game being completely canceled due to COVID and scheduling issues. I want Hawaii to get the payback they’ve been waiting for all this time.

While their odds don’t reflect this, the Warriors have the second most effective offense in the conference and fourth in terms of defense in that same category. They are trailing the best three-point shooter in the group and are third in perimeter defense at the other end. Basically, Hawaii is possibly the most balanced team in this tournament and is worth checking out. Predictions, Group Stage, Odds, Standings and Fixtures
