Predictions and odds between Wright State vs. Arizona for the First Round of the NCAA Tournament

Wright State won 5 games in a row and made it through 4 of them, while the Wildcats made it through the Pac-12 Conference Tournament with ease and looked like one of the favorites to win. NCAA Tournament.

However, they will be short of star guard Kerr Kriisa, who is still recovering from an ankle injury. Can the Raiders capitalize on his absence to keep a close eye or will Arizona’s depth and talent prove too much to handle?

WRIGHT STATE MONEYLINE BABY !! Joke, joke. The Raiders did well to achieve this and looked impressive in their win over Bryant, but the Wildcats were out of their league.

KenPom has Wright State with a 257th defense – Arizona could be in 100th. The Raiders offensive team is very talented and they are an excellent counter-attacking team so I think they will be able to score. It’s just that the Wildcats will probably score something ridiculous, like 1.25 points per possession.

But that leads us to a valuable bet: the end. Arizona has scored more than 80 points in six straight games and it has every time. Their attack is hitting all turrets, even without Kriisa, and I have no reason to think they will slow down now.

Not only is the Wildcats an overpowered machine, but the result is 6-2 in Wright State’s last eight games. This must be a fun game to watch, but not if you’re a Raid fan. Give it back to me as we bask in the glory of every hit of the net.
