Predictions and odds between Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee (Bet on the bottom of Big Road)

Vanderbilt’s NCAA Tournament hopes are dying out, sitting 13-10 for the year and 5-6 in the SEC’s game, but there’s a chance for Tennessee to stand on the court Saturday night in Knoxville.

These guys played last month in a pretty competitive match with the Vols pulling away later, winning 8.

Here are the odds for the SEC match, with support from WynnBET Sportsbook.

Vanderbilt may struggle on the offensive side of the ball, but I believe they can get enough output from their high-use guard Scotty Pippen to cover this disparity.

Pippen ranks 11th in the country in usage per KenPom and the team is very good at fouling, reaching the 13th highest percentage of free throws in the country.

That would be huge against an aggressive, top 10 Tennessee defense on that side of the ball from an efficiency standpoint. Scoring in the innings can be tough on a sled, but getting to the charity strip could score some points on the board and slow down the forward offense of Tennessee, who top out of 20 this country.

It is also a difficult schedule for the team that will host Kentucky at home on Tuesday. There’s a chance Vandy could meet Vols who might be more interested in their next game.
