Predictions and odds between Pacific vs. USC (Tigers Confronted in Hostile Territory)

The Pacific Tigers and 21 USC Trojans went head to head tonight for the first time in the West Coast Conference and Pac-12 clash.

The Tigers entered this match with an overall record of 7-15; do not win the conference game. That won’t change tonight even if the Tigers get a miracle ahead of Trojan 19-4. USC will play furious tonight after losing to 7 Arizona in their final game 72-63.

With a gap of nearly 20 points, they will have little difficulty getting there tonight. However, is the extent of the spread too much for them to cover the Pacific Ocean? Here are the odds for this non-conference match, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Cash flow:

Total: 134.5 (Above -110/Under -110)

The first thing I noticed when watching this game is that neither team has been able to buy an ATS win in the past few weeks. The Trojans are 1-3 ATS in their last four games and only 4-7 ATS as the home team. While that’s pretty dire, the numbers in the Pacific are far more tragic. They only hit 4-17 ATS for the year and have yet to include a single game on the road. They have two wins over ATS as the underdog but it took 13 games to get there.

The Tigers’ attack will struggle from line to line to score against Trojan’s 30th-ranked defense. Pacific ranks 293rd for fouls to score and 315th for effective goalscoring rate. They failed to free-throw, three-pointer and ranked 194th in individual fouls per game.

In the end, I don’t see the path to an ATS win for Pacific here and I’ll have a chance for USC to beat a rather weak Tigers team.

Lean: USC -19.5 (-110)
