Western Conference rivals in the Nashville Predators and the Los Angeles Kings clash tonight in the City of Angels. The Predators are one of the hotter teams in the league at the moment and are on the verge of a 6-3 win over Anaheim last night. Nashville is currently leading 7-2 straight in the last nine games and is currently in second place in the middle division.
The Kings are also second in their table but have had a bit of a slide lately. LA has been leading 2-4 in the last six games. The Kings are also losing 0-2 to the Predator so far this year and Nashville is keen to complete a season tonight.
Here are the odds for tonight’s Western Conference brawl, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
Predator are in the second half of their comeback, but they are also on a two-match winning streak. They’ve been playing great hockey over the past few weeks and look like one of the more dangerous teams in the West at the moment. The Predators offense deserves a lion’s share for the recent spike in wins. Nashville has scored at least four goals in seven of the last eight games and at least six in the last two.
Although the Kings haven’t had the recent success they’ve come to expect, from a statistical standpoint, they’re still one of the strongest teams in the league. But the stats are not considered a win and LA needs to start scoring some points across the board. And despite a lot of navigating to the Predators regression, it hasn’t happened yet.
Sometimes teams just find a way to win even though the stats are lower than desired. The Predators struggle for 5v5 and have a goal-to-goal ratio of less than 50 percent in their last four games. However, they continued to win. And until that stops, I won’t stop betting on Nashville.
Lean: Predators +100 to win
