Postable Stories about Arise Plushes to be released in April 2022

Kotobukiya in Akihabara announced that it will start selling Tales of Arise plushes from April 2022. There will be a total of six variants, each priced at JPY 3,300 (about $28.60). While the dolls have an April 2022 release window, samples are available to view on the second floor of the Kotobukiya Akihabara store.

The Tales of Arise plushes depict the six main members of the party. They all have small smiles on their faces, and the details of their clothes are clear even though the characters appear as chibis. More intricate elements such as Alphen and Kisara’s armor are drawn on canvas rather than made up of separate pieces of felt. Technically speaking, these toys are “nui-doll”, which means it’s a mix of doll and plush. While they are as soft as a normal cup, you can move their limbs and shape them in a variety of ways.

Tales of Arise released worldwide in September 2021. The film tells the story of Alphen, who has amnesia, and a mysterious Renan woman named Shionne. Other members of the cast include the hugely popular Dohalim (the official head Story about popular poll from Bandai Namco) and shaman Dahnan Rinwell. For those curious about the game, ufotable has released a Intro Animation by the end of January 2022.
