The first half belonged to Portugal as Otavio scored the opening goal after a shot from Bernardo Silva hit the woodwork and came back into play. Just before half-time the lead was doubled by a Diogo Jota header.

Turkey came back strong and played attractive football in the second half. Burak Yilmaz brought them back through a well-created goal. But he failed to convert a late penalty that could have sent the game into overtime. Portugal sealed the win when Matheus Nunes scored in added time.

João Moutinho (7.3/10): Moutinho distributed the ball well and his pass was perfectly directed forward. He was booked for a tough challenge late in the second half.

Bernardo Silva (7.8/10): Silva was creative with the ball at foot and made some crucial passes. His first-half shot hit the woodwork and rebounded to Otavio, who scored.
