Pop superstar Jason Derulo joins The Voice Australia judging panel for the new season

Pop superstar Jason Derulo will be sitting in one of the famous red chairs when he joins The Voice’s judging panel for the new season later this year.

The show, once again hosted by Sonia Kruger, makes its long-awaited return to Channel 7 and 7plus this year, with the US singer joining the highly competitive panel of Guy Sebastian, Rita Ora and Jessica Mauboy.

Former judge Keith Urban announced he would not be returning to the show last year.

Derulo, who lands in Sydney in a couple of weeks for the much-anticipated Blind Auditions, has high expectations for the Australian contestants.

“I’ve always loved The Voice and Australia is one of my favorite places on earth.

“I can’t wait to hear all the amazing talent from Down Under,” he said.

Famous for chart-toppers like Talk Dirty, Whatcha Say and Savage Love, Derulo also has more than 57 million followers on TikTok.

Last year, The Voice became one of Australia’s most-watched entertainment shows when fans voted for Team Rita’s Lachie Gill to win $100,000 in prize money and a record deal.

The Voice Australia will premiere on Channel 7 and 7plus later this year.
