Police chiefs agree to cover medical expenses for children injured in Britt Reid . crash

After Ariel Young, a 5-year-old girl, was injured in an accident involving former Kansas City assistant coach Britt Reid, the NFL franchise has struck a deal to help kid.

Kansas City sheriffs apparently reached an agreement to help care for a child injured in a crash in February involving a car accident. Britt Reid, who was the assistant coach for the Chiefs at the time.

According to a statement from the Chiefs, a plan has been developed to assist Ariel Young and her family in caring for the child after she was injured in the accident.

In the statement, the Chairs made it clear that Young will receive support for the rest of her life.

After the accident, Children with brain damage and is working to recover from the injuries caused by that incident.

Reid, son of Kansas City head coach Andy Reid, faces DWI charges following the incident, according to a report from Yahoo Sports. In June, the former assistant coach for the heads plead not guilty and the judge in the case later allowed Reid to return to driving with restrictions in place, according to a AP report.

In one report from KMBC, court documents say Reid was driving 84 miles per hour just seconds before the crash. KMBC also reported that court documents put Reid’s blood alcohol level at 0.113, well above the legal limit of 0.08.
