Pokémon Scarlet and Violet leaks have begun – spoilers to come

Pokémon fans should be extra cautious over the next few weeks as the latest games in the series, Scarlet and Violet, have started leaking across the internet ahead of their November 18 release date. Players looking to get into the new games as freshly as possible should be mindful of the websites they visit leading up to launch day.

The leak appears to have come from an account named on Twitter Presidentlilna1, which seems to have an early copy of Pokémon Violet. It has shared several screenshots from the upcoming games, many of which have never been seen before. We won’t publish the images here, but if you’re interested, you can easily find the information on Reddit and 4chan.

The leaks reveal Fuecoco’s evolution, new forms, items, and invisible Pokemon called Flamigo and Tarountula, and a map of Paldea. Players can expect these images to be removed and reposted elsewhere in the coming days, with more information and leaks to follow as we get closer to the game’s release in the coming weeks.

This isn’t the first time Pokémon has suffered a leak. Over the past few days we’ve seen Gimmighoul leaked ahead of its official reveal. In July 2022, we saw a significant leak that included information about the Pokedex, new Pokemon, new evolutions, and story details.

Take the new leaks and information with a healthy pinch of salt as it is unclear if they are legit. Players wishing to avoid spoilers from the new leaks should exercise caution on social media, avoid Pokémon subreddits, mute game-related keywords and phrases, and not click or check any links that may contain information about Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
