#3 Strong silence: This light racing dog has the earliest speed of anyone in this three-way non-winning race at the one mile. She broke her maiden impressively at Ellis . Park in August and then won the tier one allowance race here in September despite pressure for consistent pace. In her last start, Lexus Raven Run Stakes in Keeneland, she was forced into high speed and backed away. Now she’s relegated and there shouldn’t be much pressure to deal with. If she can get to the lead and the track by the first quarter of a mile, she’ll be in great shape.

# 9 Injunction: Only two of the 12 horses in this level one allowance field have never lost to the winners. One of them is Injunction, who broke her maiden last time with a length of 9 and a half in impressive fashion at Keeneland. He engages in a three-way speedfight early on but knocks out his opponents and moves clearly in turns. He finished ahead of the other pacesetters by 13 1/2 lengths and 20 3/4 lengths, respectively. He ran a 102 Equibase Speed Figure and a 92 Brisnet figure; Both points are career highs. This will be a tougher area than the last time he faced, but he is improving in every race and his second start is a short layoff, so the extra competition is not too many problems. I am looking forward to a great performance from him.
