This past weekend, pop culture fans from around the world descended on San Diego, California for Comic-Con, the world’s largest convention dedicated to comic books, genre entertainment and general geekery.

But don’t twist it: Just because many Comic-Con attendees call themselves nerds doesn’t mean they can’t be damn hot Nerds.

One of the great traditions of the annual conventions is cosplay, a synonym for “costume play” – that is, dressing up as one’s favorite characters from movies, video games, comics, etc… It’s basically drag!

And luckily for us, there’s a slew of superheroes (and other eccentric pop personalities) with bulging muscles and revealing wardrobes, which means cosplaying at Comic-Con can get pretty raunchy.

With that in mind, we’ve curated a collection of photos that showcase the best of the festivities, from skin-tight spandex to awesome Ken energy to a surprisingly hot take on robot WALL-E (yes, really!).
