Pets N’ Popsicles returns August 5-6 at Greeley’s Centennial Village Museum

The annual Pets N’ Popsicles event will be held on Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Centennial Village Museum, 1475 A. St. in Greeley.

Guests of all ages are invited to spend the day touring the museum’s buildings, perusing exhibits, and cooling off with a sweet treat alongside the museum’s furry creatures.

Some of the native animals you can visit are lambs, goats, chickens, turkeys and Dolly the calf.

The baby Clydesdales – Skye and Sterling – will be back, as will the Mountain Shadow Carriages’ wagon rides.

Admission to Pets N’ Popsicles is $4 per person ages 3 and up and includes a popsicle with every purchase.

Opened in 1976, the Centennial Village Museum offers community members and guests of all ages the opportunity to experience a living history museum complete with costumed interpreters, historic farm animals and 20 acres of landscaped grounds. The museum houses some of Greeley and Weld County’s oldest structures and hosts several special events for the community each year.
