Pelicans vs. Trail Blazers: How to watch, schedule, live stream info, match times, TV channels

Who’s playing?

Portland @ New Orleans

Current record: Portland 13-18; New Orleans 10-21

What to know

The New Orleans Pelicans have not won a game against the Portland Trail Blazers since February 21 of last year, but they will look to end the drought on Tuesday. New Orleans will take on Portland at 8 p.m. ET at Smoothie King Center after a few days off. Both teams entered the competition bolstered by wins in their previous games.

It may have taken overtime to get the job done, but the Pelicans finally got the results they were hoping for last Friday with a 116-112 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Kudo to the odds providers for correctly predicting both the winner and the close. Among those leading the attack on New Orleans was the point guard Devonte ‘Graham, who shot 8-eat-12 from outside the arc and finished with 26 points.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn’t a dominant performance, Rip City beat the Memphis Grizzlies 105-100 on Sunday. Portland can attribute much of their success to point guard Damian Lillard, who had 32 points and five assists in addition to five pounds, and the small striker Norman Powell, who shot 5 to 8 from downtown and finished with 28 points.

New Orleans is currently 10-21 while the Trail Blazers sit at 13-18. A few stats to keep in mind while watching: The Pelicans can only knock out 43.50% of their shots, which is the fifth lowest goal percentage in the league. Rip City went through some of their own struggles as they let their opponents shoot an average of 47% off the floor, which is the fifth-highest shot rate allowed in the league. Maybe one of these Achilles heels will get in the way of the losing team.
