Paul Millsap could be an acquisition or transaction target for the Lakers

Paul Millsap may be moving soon, and the Los Angeles Lakers have been listed as a possible destination for him.

What future holds for veteran striker Paul Millsap? Things are picking up a bit, but we know he won’t like the Brooklyn Nets much longer. According to Shams Charania, the two agreed to part ways late last month. It’s not a good fit for him.

So where could we see Millsap show up next? According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Los Angeles Lakers Definitely a team worth noting for leading up to next week’s NBA trading deadline.

Can Paul Millsap arrive at the LA Lakers ahead of time?

Fischer notes that Millsap wants to move to Chicago to play for the Bulls, but a move to LA is also possible. For the Lakers, this team is in dire need of a turnaround. As things go, the Lakers are sitting 25-27th for the season and in ninth place in the Western Conference standings.

Who in the world saw this coming from the Lake Show? Although this team has faced a lot of injuries during this campaign – including of course LeBron James and Anthony Davis – no one expected them to have two games under .500 at this point in the season.

With that said, there’s still hope this roster can get back on track. Millsap alone cannot solve this team’s problems, but he can certainly make an impact if he is brought on for a few key minutes. We’ll see how things end for Millsap, but he could be moving here pretty soon.
