Patriots rookie Mac Jones connects with Kendrick Bourne for a second TD pass

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Patriots midfielder Mac Jones was on fire to start Sunday’s match against Cleveland Browns, with his sensational opening marked by a 23-yard touchdown pass to the receiver Kendrick Bourne in the second quarter.
Bourne made an excellent catch, cutting the defenders apart John Johnson III and Troy Hill on the left seam.
Touchdown puts an exclamation point on a 99-yard touchdown drive, aided by some tough runs from Rhamondre Stevenson when the original offense was pinned at its 1-yard line.
It marked the third 99-yard touchdown pitch in coach Bill Belichick’s tenure (2000 to present), with the previous two coming both during the 2011 season (Week 1 at the Dolphins, Week 2 vs. with Chargers).
At that point in the game, Jones was 9/10 in 116 yards and two touchdowns gave the Patriots a 21-7 lead after they went 7-0 early.
