Part of the Fort McHenry Tunnel will be closed to traffic this weekend – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Transportation officials are informing the public of potential traffic delays as they plan to close part of the Fort McHenry Tunnel later this week.
The Maryland Transportation Authority will replace the ramp for two lanes in front of the tunnel entrance between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, weather permitting, transportation officials said on Thursday. Five.

The north-right tube of the tunnel will be temporarily closed while the north-left tube will remain open to traffic. Southbound pipes will not be affected by closing.

People should use Interstate 695 and Interstate 895 to cross the street.
