Pantheon’s January Producer’s Letter talks about the people of Aridola, Avendyr’s Pass and more

Say what you want pantheons long development, but the monthly production newsletters come out like clockwork. The January letter is now in and the folks at Visionary Realms have focused on the Aridola, which is the faction they released a video for earlier this month. Now there’s an entire developer blog about the group, which is pretty obviously inspired by the Roma people and real-world culture, although that’s a much more imaginative take.
“Their culture is shaped by dance and song, surrounded by myth and mysticism, alive with joy and hospitality. The Aridola live in nomadic tented villages called “Woda” and have no permanent homes. No nation they come from, no country they will one day return to, nothing but their Woda and their people to protect. They live off a mix of their own supplies, limited resource harvesting, and trading with local people. It is said that as long as there are birds in the air or fish in the sea, the Aridola will have a place to dwell. They have never met a stranger, have few enemies and even have a legacy as a bear trainer, sometimes they are seen riding the great Oggrym.”
As Visionary Realms has been discussing throughout the month, work has been done on the seamless world zoning system, crafting and gathering, world building, new character models, biome generation, and preparations for the reopening of Avendyr’s Pass to testers.
