Pantheon Rise of the Fallen increases enemy health and offers a look at the revamped Dire Lord class

No, Dire Lord isn’t the name of some PvP FPS twitch streamer unironically saying “Bruh”; It’s a class in Pantheon: Rise of the Fallenand as the game’s latest video shows, it’s the first class to get a refresh of their early kit.

The preview footage takes a close look at the Dire Lord’s level-by-level updates, from inception through level 10, and goes into the specifics of each skill and passive that the class will gain over time. These updates aim to slowly unfold the Dire Lord’s tanking tool set as it introduces afflictions, devouring abilities and essence management, as well as the usual threat generation that a tank should have. The developers also note that this is the first of their class update efforts, while other classes will receive some TLC as development progresses.

Speaking of development progress, the stream begins with news of some ad hoc testing done ahead of the planned pre-alpha in April, which has seen some improvements to the game’s overall performance. The devs also read out some patch notes, which generally aim to make dungeon enemies harder to defeat while warning testers that the time to kill will be increased overall. The full stream can be seen below.
