Pantheon Rise of the Fallen comes out in June as pre-alpha and talks about the design of its healer classes

Healer. They’re arguably the lynchpin of a Holy Trinity MMORPG’s party lineup, but playing that way can sometimes be described as a very specific playstyle. This class is the main subject of the latest video podcast out of Pantheon: Rise of the Fallenwhile Creative Director Chris “Joppa” Perkins discusses followers through healers from a class-specific and overall mechanical perspective.

The video begins with a breakdown of the backstory, general abilities, and elevator pitches for the Druid, Shaman, and Cleric classes. Perkins then talks about the ability of healers to turn the tide in combat, discusses the flexibility of healer synergies with tank classes, and details how the developers try to avoid instances or encounters where a particular healer class is imperative is required to achieve goals.

Meanwhile, Visionary Realms has done so published its May newsletter That sets a date for the next pre-alpha test on June 10th, along with the usual dates for upcoming livestream features, a progress report on development matters, and a big ol’ juicy lore dump.
