Paddy Pimblett ‘will be deeply disappointed’ if he doesn’t knock out Jordan Leavitt in first round at UFC London » FirstSportz

Paddy Pimblett is desperately looking forward to the headhunt as he is about to take part in his third UFC fight. This will be Pimblett’s second UFC fight at the O2 Arena, meaning in his home country and in front of a home crowd. Pimblett is 2-0 in the UFC so far and is the fastest rising player on the current UFC roster. Pimblett scores in both fights in the first round.
Pimblett is now battling another up-and-coming prospect Jordan Leavitt. Leavitt is 10-1 in his entire MMA career with 7 finishes. Leavitt made his big break in the UFC via the 2020 Dana White Contender Series. So far, Leavitt is 4-1 in the UFC. Both Pimblett and Leavitt are grappling specialists, but Pimblett has shown he also has tough hands when the struggle arises, and that is what the latter is to strive for.

In an interview with ESPN MMA, Pimblett and his flyweight training partner UFC Molly McCann, who are also fighting under the same battle map as Pimblett for the second time, talk at length about their battles. Pimblett talks about his fight against Leavitt and after the duel is discussed, Pimblett also believes that he has a great advantage in psychological warfare against Leavitt.
“I know what’s going on at O2 this weekend.” says Pimblett “Last time I got an assist against a striker and I know This time I’ll get a knockout against a grappler. I will be very disappointed in myself if he makes it through the first lap, I really will.” closes Pimblett.
What do you think of Pimblett’s confidence ahead of his fight against Pimblett this weekend? Do you think Pimblett will go undefeated in the UFC or will Leavitt prove to be the first setback in Pimblett’s UFC career so far? Do you think Pimblett’s potential to become a UFC champion will peak?
