Paddy Pimblett Denies Ilia Topuria’s Caption After Great Return

Paddy Pimblett turned down the invitation of ‘sheep’ Ilia Topuria after a stunning comeback in the first round at UFC London.

UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett promised to blow up the roof at the O2 Arena, and he backed it up with a first-round finish against Kazula Vargas at UFC London.

Pimblett had to overcome some initial adversity again in her second UFC bout. He took a big punch from Vargas in the opening seconds and was at the bottom of the table for most of the first inning.

But, Pimblett was finally able to get up and score a judo-style knockdown of Vargas. After returning, Pimblett was left naked behind suffocating as the London crowd erupted into a frenzy.

Pimblett used his post-match interview to address Ilia Topuria’s attention earlier in the card, following his win over Jai Herbert. However, Pimblett downplayed Topuria’s caption, calling him “the boy who washed his hands” and “the sheep” after their battle-weekly altercation.
