Aaron Rodgers has an extremely talented arm, quarterback is the perfect QB that every team would want to keep as a franchise player. His numerous regular season MVPs and clutch games are a testament to his talent. Still, Rodgers doesn’t seem like a quarterback that many top wideouts want to play with. That doesn’t bother him either, because Aaron is known for making the best of every situation.
That offseason was tough for the quarterback, losing his top weapon and NFL wideout, Davante Adams. Adams was Rodgers’ Scottie Pippen for Michael Jordan and the duo parted ways due to Aaron’s uncertain future. However, the Packers organization attempted to field their quarterback with other guns like Sammy Watkins, who was with the Kansas City Chiefs. Aside from him, there’s Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard, the duo might not be among the top 5 wideouts in the NFL, but they are solid players.

Sammy Watkins experienced playing with Patrick Mahomes and will now play for Aaron Rodgers:
This is Rodgers’ first time playing with Watkins and now that all teams have opened their training camps we’re seeing first-hand how the new rosters are developing and it also gives the players a much-needed chance to develop chemistry with one another .
Sammy Watkins trained with Rodgers for the first time today, having previously been unable to do so because he was placed on the non-football injury list after coming back to camp with a hamstring injury. He was recently activated to play on Friday and he was in training on Saturday. After his first practice session of the summer with the team, Watkins was asked from fellow wideout Randall Cobb on his first impressions of playing with Rodgers. He proceeded to ask him if he would vote “Mahomes or Rodgers?”
Sammy Watkins didn’t hesitate to respond and had this to say about his new quarterback: “I think Pat(Patrick Mahomes) is incredibly good, but A-Rod(Aaron Rodgers) is on a whole other level.” Does this end the debate between Mahomes and Rodgers? Maybe, but the similarities between the two remain.
Both have the amazing arm strength, Mahomes beats Rodgers in certain aspects as he is more agile and can practically throw the ball when it’s also floating in the air. However, Aaron can make the most of any roster he is involved with, he just manages to make average players look like Pro Bowlers.
