With the NFL Draft approaching, can Brian Gutekunst and the Green Bay side office bring in some more offensive help for Aaron Rodgers?
Still, the Packers trust Rodgers to return in 2022, and they’re willing to do whatever they can to let him know they want to help him win another Super Bowl in town before he does. Call it a career. So, with the NFL Draft coming up, can the Packers bring in a speedy player to catch Rodgers’ eye? That may be the case with Pitt’s Taysir Mack.
NFL Draft Prediction: Taysir Mack Expands Pitt Met With Packers Scouts Recently
According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, Green Bay scouts met Mack after the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. Mack, who started his career with Indiana and moved to Pitt, played in eight games last season and averaged more than 17 yards per reception.
Needless to say, wide receivers are also an area of focus for the Packers this season. Davante Adams may end up leaving, while the same can happen to the speedy Marquez Valdes-Scantling. However, if Rodgers does return, it’s hard to imagine a scenario where Adams is gone as well.
However, this team still needs help at the spot, and Packers fans are still furious with Gutekunst for not drafting a recipient in the 2020 NFL Draft. It was just a slap in the face to Rodgers. For now, though, this team might be ready to go and get some players this April and Mack is sure to be a player worth watching.
