David Bakhtiari has had a pretty frustrating time lately. Bakhtiari has long been suffering from an injury that has left him sidelined. Being unable to play for such a long period of time has also affected his mental health.
David Bakhtiari made just one appearance last season and missed a number of crucial games. He struggled with a knee injury that also caused him to miss the Green Bay Packers playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers.

David Bakhtiari recently married his fiancée Frankie Shebby at Rosewood Miramar Beach Resort and his Green Bay Packers family was there to support him. According to a report by NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was delighted to see David Bakhtiari dance at his wedding. Matt LaFleur believes this is a good sign and shows Bakhtiari is in good mental shape.
David Bakhtiari has previously spoken about his frustration at having to deal with the injury. He said his ACL is in good condition but his knee needs to recover. “No. The hurdle you want to overcome is fully restoring an ACL,” he said . “I know my ACL is good. My meniscus is good, they cut off about 10-15 percent of it. It’s just my knee that needs rest. Structurally it’s good. I just have to take this break.”
“It’s just hard when the answer is the one you don’t want to hear: don’t play football for a while.” said Bakhtiari.
