Cincinnati Reds’ Joey Votto got some great fashion tips from Atlanta Braves’ Ozzie Albies.
The ESPN crew miked Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto during their televised coverage of the Reds’ game against World Series champion Atlanta Braves.
Ozzie Albies, the Braves second baseman, makes it to first base and Votto addresses him in his usual friendly manner.
Votto asks what Albies thinks about getting a diamond tooth. Albies thinks this is a solid fashion choice and replies that Votto should “Go for it!”
Votto responded with a questioning confirmation, and Albies confirmed again that Votto should do it. ‘Understand, brother!’ said Albies.
Albies laughed at this when Votto explained that the TV crew told him to check out the Diamond Tooth situation with Albies. “I said no, he’s too young,” said Votto. “I’m having a midlife crisis.”
Joey Votto should be miked for every game after speaking to Ozzie Albies
Joey Votto is an absolute sweetheart.
And Twitter agrees!
One Twitter user remained in the dark about Joey Votto’s miracle until tonight.
Hopefully, Votto will head over to his new TikTok page to learn more about the diamond tooth decision. If not, Votto is a treat during in-game interviews and fun times. It was opening day and Votto was all about having fun.
The Reds defeated the Braves 6-3 on opening night. Votto had a single in the third inning to score Jonathan India.
