Overwatch 2 brings back Overwatch Credits for its third season

In last night’s letter to the surveillance 2 Community, Blizzard took some time to evaluate the progression of Season 2 of the team shooter and give a preview of the changes coming with Season 3 through the Battle Pass to give out things like legendary skins.
“These changes mean that every season, all players can earn a legendary skin of their choice from the Hero Gallery skins just by playing normally and not having to make any purchases,” the studio said.
Future adjustments include a nerf to Ramattra’s ultimate ability, the promise of new rewards whenever Blizzard brings you back surveillance 2 event, a hero-based progression system, and a possible overhaul of the “on fire” system.
Blizzard pledged to continue working on improving its matchmaking systems: “Our team is aware of some community pain points in competitive mode and matchmaking, particularly games with large skill variations, inconsistent games, and under-serving and infrequent competitive updates. We have a number of matchmaking improvements planned and are also working on updates to the competition system.”
