Late yesterday, the Senate voted 57-40 to Rand Paul’s bill that would permanently end the federal government’s insane mask-wearing policy on airplanes and vehicles. public. This policy has been in place for two years and affects people under the age of two.
Daily caller quote Rand Paul as he lays out his reasons for the unnecessary, but unfortunately necessary, bill right now:
“Today, the Senate said enough is enough, and sent a message to unelected government officials to stop the state’s unscientific, nanny claim of duty to wear a travel mask.” Paul said in a statement after the vote.
“Since March 2020, unelected officials have relentlessly stated that we should ‘follow the science.’ But these same officials continue to defy science by imposing an ineffective and restrictive mask regulation on individuals traveling by public transit and by plane. As the world learns to live with COVID, the federal government still uses the act of fear to stubbornly maintain its mandate, rather than offering clear, sensible advice on how to protect itself. the best way to recover from illness,” he continued.
“That’s why, I’m forced to vote this and I applaud the Senate for rejecting this nonsense,” Paul added.
Considering that tyrannical (and both unnecessary and unsuccessful) public health policies will only go away because November midterm polls show a more deadly threat to opportunity If the Democratic Party’s efforts to retain House and Senate majority are thinner than Covid has ever put on everyone, one would think that every Republican would wholeheartedly embrace medical science and politics. Even eight Democrats have crossed the line in an attempt to regain the human features of the face in public.
Well, one would be wrong. What is the saying? Classic GOP? Only Republicans can lose with this momentum? Romney bad? It’s almost impossible to find words. Look at this attendance sheet:
Incredibly, Forever-RINO Mitt Romney voted against Senator Paul and all of his 49 colleagues by some inexplicable trickery that would leave diapers behind emotionally and medically harmful to people’s faces.
Federalist Yes the story from here and how they framed the vote makes Romney look even more obnoxious (if that’s even possible):
“Republican Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah voted with a room filled with a handful of bare-faced Democrats on Tuesday to keep the federal masking duties for toddlers like two. age.”
We even have an actual roll call vote. Romney voted at the 1:25 mark:

Contemptible. The irony and hypocrisy of this vote is completely bare by the fact that America’s despicable ruling class is crammed into a space mask and enjoying the fresh air of freedom. Romney doesn’t feel like he needs to wear a mask, but he damn well thinks you and your baby either. What a dirty man. Did Big Pharma pay him for that vote? Ukrainians? Between Romney and that lame governor, Utah actually has some explaining to do.
