Sonders posted the photo on Instagram to show off the tattoo featuring a moment during the 1992 Olympics.

“Dear Oscar,” Sonders wrote. “You have everything in life. There’s nothing I can give you that you haven’t received…except this. This tattoo signifies the day you became the Golden Boy. The moment you win a gold medal at the 1992 Olympics and look up at your mother who passed away a few months earlier. When I decided to choose an artist to bring this moment to life, without a doubt I wanted it to be your sister’s husband @tattooesteban. I love you @oscardelahoya. ”

You might recognize Sonders from her days working for the Golf Channel or Fox Sports as a reporter. She has also done the work of organizing boxing events for the Ballys, which is where she met De La Hoya in June, per TMZ.

De La Hoya, who retired in 2009, was supposed to create a Boxing back this year, fighting Vitor Belfort in September. However, before the fight took place, the boxer contracted COVID-19 and it had to be cancelled.
