BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Orioles pitcher Bruce Zimmermann has said on numerous occasions that getting into the big leagues is hard, and even harder to stay there.
Zimmerman is trying to earn a spot in the Orioles’ starting rotation in what may be his third year with the majors.

Raised in Ellicott City, he played high school baseball at Loyola Blakefield High School, played college baseball at Towson University, and is an Orioles fan.

He threw three innings with no earned runs allowed.
