Oof: Brian Stelter humiliated in hilarious DM exchange

So what is Stelter doing to save his job at this moment of crisis for him and possible rebirth for CNN? He makes any possible future dismissal all the easier by poking fun at himself on Twitter and angrily sliding into the DMs of those who dare bring up his past statements.

Why? Because a Breitbart article had reprimanded him for calling Hunter Biden’s laptop Russian propaganda. For reference, here’s a clip of him talking about Hunter Biden:

At this point, the reporter involved, Wendell Husebo, reacted hilariously, thanking Mr. Potatohead for reading Breitbart and asking whether he would stand by his claims or recant. Husebo also sent Stelter this video compilation of him, Stelter, speaking about the Hunter emails:

Stelter then refused to withdraw his statements and instead counterattacked Breitbart, whom he accused of not sticking to his reports and statements

“So … you clearly can’t substantiate your claim that I claimed ‘Hunter Biden’s laptop emails were probably Russian propaganda’ – thanks for confirming that what you wrote is false.”

Husebo didn’t want to back down. He made it clear that he did, in fact, stand by his reporting and then followed up with a litany of questions. As Breitbart reported on this incident:

Zucker recently resigned from his position as president of CNN after being questioned about his relationship with longtime CNN exec Allison Gollust as part of the broader Cuomo investigation, which revealed that former Chris Cuomo was his brother, then the governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, had helped. as he navigated a sexual harassment scandal.

One of the best was where he slapped Stelter for his likely shooting and erratic behavior, behavior highlighted by his DM escapade. In this question, Husebo asked:
