In Season 2, Episode 6, “Hurricane Anthony”, a tropical storm ravages the area leaving chaos and some victims in the wake of the storm. However, not everything is as it seems and as it turns out, some victims are not victims of the storm at all but something or someone else.
End of the episode shows some agents trying to take it easy and recover from hectic and overwhelming crimes. However, when detective Calleigh Duquesne (Emily Procter) gets up to leave, she finds a silver lining in the situation. She says it can be a good thing for a criminal to crash into someone’s car during a hurricane because otherwise, they wouldn’t have found and caught a killer.
Here, Delko just giggled and commented, “Leave it to you, Calleigh, to find something good to come out of a storm.” The perfect timeline not only makes Detective Duquesne smile but also shines for a dark episode. The fact that this line sounds as eerie as it might be on an inspirational poster arguably makes it the best Delko’s one-liner in the series.
