Suni Lee made a huge impact on gymnastics last year when she won the individual all-around title 2020 Tokyo Olympia. She then shifted her focus to collegiate gymnastics and has had even greater success ever since.

Suni won a historic gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics and was the first all-around gold medalist to transition to collegiate gymnastics. She found her place at Auburn University as the leader of the Tigers team. The 19-year-old still felt nervous ahead of the NCAA Finals but successfully carried her team through the event.

Lee helped the Auburn reach the Finals for the second time since 1993 as the Tigers finished second behind Florida in the second semifinal and qualified for Saturday’s Final Four.

Lee celebrated victory as her spectacular routine on the uneven bars propelled the team to the finals. “I’m really proud of us” said Lee. Lee is expected to return to competitive gymnastics to prepare for it Olympic Games 2024 in Paris.
