Twitter reacted to the highly anticipated rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua on August 20.

Back on September 25, 2021, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua via unanimous decision to win the WBA (Super), WBO, IBF, and IBO Heavyweight Championships. Almost a year later, Usyk had a chance to prove himself against Joshua again as a title defense would give him a perfect 20-0 boxing record. Meanwhile, Joshua wanted to reclaim the very championships he won back from Andy Ruiz Jr. in late 2019.

On Saturday, August 20, it was Usyk who was victorious again, defeating Joshua via split decision to retain his heavyweight titles. The judges rated the fight 115-113 and 116-112 for Usyk, while a single judge named it 115-113 for Joshua.

Joshua made things interesting in the later rounds, with the ninth round being his most aggressive and putting Usyk in danger. Still, Usyk dominated Rounds 10-12 and claimed his 20th win of the season.
