Old School RuneScape adds a Modify Game option to resize spell icons

It’s not just the Grinch who saw his heart grow three sizes one day – Old school RuneScape brings some relief to visually impaired players by allowing them to increase the size of their spell icons.

“Have you ever filtered your spellbook and been frustrated by the sheer amount of dead space left around those tiny little spell symbols?” Jagex asked. “If so, this update will be an absolute game changer. By enabling Spell Filtering and navigating to the Spell Filters menu, you can select a new option that will change the size of your symbols.”

In addition to resizing spell icons, this week’s update for the immensely popular MMO includes a QOL improvement for magic secateurs, better birdhouses, a more useful rune pouch, and an increase in the amount of Cave Nightshade to craft toxic explosives.

Old school RuneScape will be celebrating its 10th birthday next week with “some really silly rewards up for grabs”.
