Dolph Ziggler is one of the most talented and athletic WWE Superstars of all time. Ziggler exudes charisma and his in-ring skills have been praised by many in the wrestling community. Dolph was signed to WWE in 2004 and assigned to the WWE Development Territory OVW, after which he was called to the main roster of RAW, where he served as Chavo Guerrero’s caddy during his golfer gimmick. After Eddie’s death, Chavo dropped the golfer gimmick and Ziggler no longer played the role of caddy.

Dolph Ziggler was part of Vince McMahon’s creation Spirit Squad, and they supported Vince during his feud with D-Generation X. When the feud ended, Spirit Squad was disbanded and Ziggler returned to OVW. In 2008, he re-debuted in WWE as Heel and presented as a new character named “Dolph Ziggler”. It has been 14 years since then and he wrestles under the ring name Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler has won numerous championships in WWE during his career, including the World Heavyweight Championship twice.

Dolph Ziggler was involved in a storyline with Lana in 2015

In May 2015, in an issue of RAW after the Payback Live event, Lana ended her connection with Rusev and kissed Dolph Ziggler that night. Thereafter Lana and Dolph Ziggler made their relationship official and Summer Rae allied with Rusev. Soon after, Dolph Ziggler and Rusev began their rivalry and Rusev attacked Ziggler by brutally punching him in the throat, and the storyline stated that Ziggler had suffered an injured windpipe.

Soon after, Dolph Ziggler returned to action and his match against Rusev was scheduled at SummerSlam. At the event, the match ended in a double countout due to interference from Lana and Summer. Summer then seduced Dolph to end his relationship with Lana, but the storyline quietly ended after Lana injured her wrist while exercising.

Lana recently appeared on Renee Pacquette’s show The Sessions with Renee Pacquette, highlighting her role in the storyline with Dolph Ziggler and Summer Rae. Lana explained that practicing the kiss with Dolph in front of Rusev and Vince felt very awkward. She said that Summer Rae had told her that she had practiced her kiss with Dolph in front of Vince and that Summer had warned her that eventually she would have to do it too.

“The crazy thing about Dolph being super awkward is that we actually had to practice the kiss in front of Vince and Miro. Well, the funny thing is, Summer [Rae] told the story of how she practiced kissing Dolph in front of Vince. I thought, ‘What? You had to practice in front of Vince? Yes, exactly.’ She says, ‘Be ready. You may have to do the same at some point.’ I’m like, ‘Oh my god. OK.”

Dolph Ziggler lost the match of the #1 contender for the US Championship on RAW this week.
