Cincinnati made history on Tuesday by becoming the first Group of Five team to take fourth place in the College Football Playoff rankings.

Oregon’s 38-7 loss to Utah last week paved the way for the undefeated Bearcats, who beat SMU, 48-14. Odds maker got Cincinnati from +3000 to +4000 to win the national championship, a decent distance from the top three but right in the next tier combination.

The Bearcats (11-0, 7-4 ATS) were prioritized by two TDs against East Carolina on Saturday, before facing Houston in the American Athletics Conference Championship Game on December 4. All odds, Cincinnati must win both of these games – and hopefully the selection committee doesn’t make the Power Five program into the top four – to get into the CFP.

Here’s a look at the other contenders in the CFP standings, with odds allowing for FanDuel, DraftKings and PointsBet as of Wednesday morning.

Things to know about other CFB proponents

Georgia (11-0, 8-3 ATS)

Bulldogs are liked 35 points (Caesars) in the regular season finale against Georgia Tech. Georgia then faced main foe Alabama in the SEC Championship game. The preview limit for that contest is Georgia -4 at DraftKings.

Alabama (10-1, 6-5 ATS)

Arkansas pushed ‘Bama to the brink last Saturday, but the Crimson Tide prevailed again, 42-35. Alabama gets 19.5 favorites (BetMGM) in Saturday Iron Bowl vs. Auburn. Heading into the SEC Championship, it’s worth noting that Alabama has had six straight wins against Georgia.

Ohio State (10-1, 6-4-1 ATS)

The Buckeyes demolished Michigan State, 56-7, to jump from one place to third in the CFP standings. The state of Ohio is a 8.5 favorite spots in Michigan this weekend.

Oklahoma State (10-1, 9-2 ATS)

Cowboys welcome same-state rival Oklahoma as the Bedlam series could be their final appearance in Stillwater. The state of Oklahoma is a consensus Favorite 4 points against Sooners.

Oklahoma (11-1, 5-7 ATS)

Oklahoma is on the verge of a 28-21 home win over Iowa State, which beat rivals Oklahoma State to its only loss of the season.

Michigan (10-1, 9-2 ATS)

Did you realize that Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh was 0-5 against Ohio State? Of course, you have. The Wolverines ran rough on Maryland last week, 58-14, but they will need to find a way to finally beat the Buckeyes to keep their CFP dreams alive.

Notre Dame Cathedral (January 11th, March 9th ATS)

It will take Irish luck and then some for Notre Dame to secure a place in the semi-finals. The Irishman maxed out his form points in a 55-0 win over Georgia Tech last weekend. Stanford shouldn’t pose much of a problem either, but not having a conference title game to play will affect Notre Dame’s CFP chances, as well as the loss to Cincinnati earlier this season.
