NWS issues winter weather advice for central Maryland Starting Thursday night – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – The National Weather Service on Wednesday issued a tip about winter weather for the Baltimore-Washington and Western Maryland regions Thursday night through Friday morning.
The advice is in effect from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday in central Maryland, and begins three hours earlier in the western part of the state.
During that time, parts of the City of Baltimore and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Cecil, Harford, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George counties are 2 to 4 inches visible.

Between 6 p.m. Thursday and 3 a.m. Friday, parts of Allegany, Frederick, and Washington counties could also see 2 to 4 inches of snow, with up to 6 inches in some spots.
Garrett County and other parts of Western Maryland are forecast to grow 3 to 5 inches and at most 7 inches. Winter Weather Notice in effect from 3 p.m. Thursday to 10 a.m. Friday.

On the East Coast, Winter Weather Notices covering Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne and Talbot counties are in effect between 10 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday. Those jurisdictions could also see 2 to 4 inches of snow.
