Conor McGregor showered high praise on Brandon Moreno and Kai Kara France for their legendary flyweight interim title fight. The co-main event, held at UFC 277 in Dallas, saw three thrilling bouts in which the Mexican got away with a finish.
Moreno and Kai had fought earlier in their careers where the Mexican was able to claim the decider victory. After losing his title Deiveson FigueiredoIt looked like Moreno was on his way to the inevitable 4th fight against the Brazilian when he announced he needed time off due to injury.
With that in mind, an interim title fight between the former champion and the up-and-coming City Kickboxing prospect has been announced. KKF. With the winner next in contention for the undisputed title, both men risked everything.

Although the planned 5 round bout only lasted 3, it delivered all the hype surrounding it from the opening buzzer itself. The back-and-forth competition seemed to focus on Kai as Moreno scored with a perfectly placed body kick that broke KKF to the canvas.
