NSW police officer charged with sex offenses against 17-year-old: Future employment status under consideration

The future of a 27-year-old NSW police officer is in shambles after he was charged with sexual offenses against a 17-year-old girl.

NSW Police have been investigating the allegations since December last year and say they arrested the 27-year-old on Thursday April 6.

“The probationary police officer – who belongs to a commando in the northern region – has been accused of inciting others to engage in sexual activity with them without consent and of obscene behavior in/near public places/schools,” police said in a statement.
