“Not good news for the other teams!” – Jurgen Klopp about the new manager of Man United – Liverpool FC

People unite are expected to appoint Ralf Rangnick as their interim manager until the end of the season and Jurgen Klopp knows the changes he’s going to make are “not good news.”

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opening the door after a tumultuous season and after convincing defeats against Liverpool, City man and Watford, an advertisement for the new manager opened at Old Trafford.

And United are ending up with Rangnick, a German coach Klopp knows very well who has faced him on 13 occasions in Germany, first with Mainz and then with Dortmund.

In that time, Klopp has scored just two wins and when questioned about his impending arrival, the Liverpool boss was highly commendable and knew things were about to change.

“Usually we don’t talk about unconfirmed things. I can’t believe you told me they were going to happen,” Klopp told reporters.

“Unfortunately, a good coach is coming to England, going to Manchester United. A truly experienced manager who has built two clubs most famous for being home to threats and the right force in Germany with Hoffenheim and Leipzig.

“He has done a lot of different jobs but his first interest has always been as a coach, as a manager, and that is clearly his best skill.

“United will be organized on the pitch, I think we should realize that and that is obviously not good news for the other teams!

“But, of course, like all coaches in the world, we need time to train with our teams and Ralf will quickly realize that he doesn’t have time to practice because of them. play all the time.

“That makes it a bit more difficult for him but apart from that, a really good man and an excellent coach, if that happens, will go to England.”

Both have a history dating back to the early 2000s and Klopp still feels he owes something from their respective promotions.

“Among highly regarded coaches, where he is he has done incredible jobs. It started early at a very young age when Stuttgart coached the second team,” added Klopp.

“I’m pretty sure we went and got them to the Bundelsliga, it was absolutely crazy at the time and then he went up from there.

“We played against each other for the first time when I was a very young coach when he was in Hanover, he might have forgotten that.

“They were always playing against our opponents a week later so he called me Mainz youth coach and asked a lot of questions and I was happy when Ralf Rangnick called me but with all the information. they needed it, they got the promotion and we didn’t.

“So he owes me something!

“In the football world in Germany, he is very, very appreciated, and rightfully so.”

Rangnick’s appointment has yet to be officially confirmed as of early Friday afternoon but is expected to be only a matter of time. Next, Liverpool meet United on March 19 at Anfield.
